Apollo PTA earns its funds from membership dues, school directory advertising sales, used printer cartridge recycling program, school supply sales, annual back to school social event, and sales of school spirit items.

These funds enable the Apollo Junior Hight PTA to provide hospitality events for the teachers and staff, publish the Panther Tracks (school newsletter), print and distribute a campus student directory, provide an updated PTA website, parent education programs, Multicultural Event, Red Ribbon "Drug Awareness" Campaign, Teacher Appreciation Events, Support RISD Council of PTA Programs, and Teens In Leadership Training (TILT).

This year's fundraisers include:

  • Desperado's Spirit Nights - Apollo receives a percentage of your purchase on designated nights. Please let your server know you are with Apollo.
  • Printer cartridges, cell phones & pager recycling program - PTA is collecting and recycling these items. The collection box is located in the Attendance office at Apollo.
  • Albertson's Community Partners Program - join this program and a percentage of your receipts will be donated back to Apollo PTA. Register online at www.albertsons.com. Select the In The Community tab or the Community Partners logo. Once there, log in using the number on the back of your Alberton's Preferred Savings Card. Enter the Apollo PTA ID# 49000900694
  • Sale of School Spirit Items - available in the Panther Depot
  • Back to School supply sale - on sale during registration and Panther Camp
  • Panther Depot - open school days before school and during lunch.
