28th Annual Used Book Fair
February 11-14, 2010

The RISD Council of PTA's annual Used Book Fair will be held at the Valley View Mall, February 11th -14th, 2010. Proceeds from the sale benefit the Dr. J.J. Pearce Memorial Scholarship Fund for students and teachers within our district, the RISD Council of PTAs and our local PTA units.
Time to do some spring cleaning – clean out those bookshelves and send the books to school! We will begin collecting books Tuesday, January 19th and end on Friday, January 29th. Students will bring them to their 1st period class and deposit them in the designated boxes. The classroom with the highest percentage (number of books/number of students) will get a surprise!
We will gladly accept children books, adult books, tapes, DVDs, CDs, and VHS tapes (must have original label and case; no home-taped movies).
We cannot accept following; magazines, pamphlets, coloring books, comic books, badly torn or dirty books, books without covers, National Geographics, college textbooks, outdated (before 2001) Worldbooks or encyclopedia sets.
We need volunteers to help sort and bag the collected books. Volunteers have the perk of purchasing any books or other materials they find during the sorting process. It's a great way to shop early and get the best selection!
Donation receipts are available upon request. Email us to obtain the receipt.

Sponsor a table at the Book Fair
This year businesses and individuals have the opportunity to sponsor a table for only $20! Your business, family or individual name will be displayed as the sponsor of a table. (i.e. “Thanks to Bob and Cindy Wilson for sponsoring this table” or “Thanks to Red Mango Frozen Yogurt for sponsoring this table.”
Table sponsorships pay for table rental expenses, allowing monies from the fair to go to the scholarships! Click here to obtain form.
